Message: Proven or not proven...

I am probably the one that supposedly quoted Frank saying that the resource is not proven. Infact, Frank did not say: "The resource is not proven". He did not say it was proven either. This was not a quote, but my understanding of Frank's words troughout the interview. Frank expressed his beliefs, based on the available data and expectations... "We will work hard to define the resource, and we want to achieve that goal in 2011" were about his words...

Nothing has been proven beyond what is written on NRs and reports, assuming their accuracy. As one poster said, "we have to stick to the facts of the exploration program".

Everything else is speculation, anticipation, belief, dream or excitement. "There ought to be something big over there" is an exciting thought, but is sure not a proven fact.

Otherwise we would not see Joe Dwek or Sprott fooling around, but rather Goldcorp or Eldorado!

We have to be be careful with the conclusion we draw, it is easy to go way beyond where the CEO's words brings us. Beliefs and facts can produce an hazardous mixture when dosage is not looked up!

But I still persist in what I said in an earlier post:

"GNH is definitely a very powerful cost-reward position to have in a portfolio! Just imagine if they prove what they think they have at one-hour drive from Québec City..." Frank Candido is sure that he will define in 2011... (Quiz: what is, as of today, the proven fact, a) Frank's will, or b) the anticipated resource definition ?)

GLTA.

BaBe.

(I apologize for this dull dose of Rationality!)
