I call a headfake on this. I think someone put in a market buy order and that sucked in a few momos into a self-fulfilling prophecy. Meanwhile the institutions aren't around to sell into it because it's a weak Friday.
We'll see by the end of the day if I've got it wrong, but right now there's no support on the bid side to lend credence to a real advance....
