we all know about this "nugget effect" and how drill core samples underestimate grade.

what i'm wondering is if we could'nt just mark off an area we are going to bulk sample in 1 meter squares, drill one or more cores in each square one meter deep. assay those results then bulk sample each cube and assay those results.

i would think this process would give us an idea of "how underestimated" the average drill core sample is....

any thoughts?
