I heartily recommend Jim Rogers' book "Hot Commodities". It's a great book for beginners. He's a great read, and he's working in our favourite discipline - commodities!

Among other things though, he notes that the commodity bull will end around 2016, and at that point we'll see a load of great stocks trading at 3-5x P/E. Sort of lends credence to the "armageddon is still to come" crowd.
