An exit plan is a personal one, some people use technical points as their trigger, stop-losses, trailing stops, or others simply a mental percentage loss that they can live with.
I am fortunate that I sit in front of my computer all market hours so a mental stop works for me, I set it a few points under a major technical level.
I live in fear of whipsaw, but if you have ever witnessed or lived thru a flash crash, you know taking a 2-5-10% hit doesn't sting as much as riding it to the bottom.
I am not suggesting that its going to happen here, merely trying to help keep some focus while we wait.
I think I will pull up Hoov's GNH report again and see if that helps the jitters..my jitters to me, always signal something is about to change.
Good night
