New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Wow, Boot. I am loving your posts here. I couldn't have asked for a better segue into this post I am about to write.
So true. I think a little gold fever is going around town and it's caught by reading things like 100metres over 1.5g.t. This kind of news release is grabbing some extra share dollars.
I don't think that it's fair to expect the same from any assay results from GNH right now, and I'll explain why, and why this is okay not to expect this. Go to this map...

Okay. Now, let's break this down into very simple colours for a second.
Look at the RED colours. What you will notice is that there is a trend for some thick red lines to travel from the bottom left of the map towards the top right of the map. Those represent mineralized gold zones. If I use my imagination I can picture those thick red lines eventually looking like Zebra stripes and covering the entire map....but we can't do that yet.
Now look at the thin PURPLE and GREEN lines. Those represent the path of the drill. What is noteworthy here is that with the exception of holes 127 and 128....ALL of thes lines run in the perpindicular direction to the trend of the red lines. A perfect X is formed.
Okay....what's your point Brattymack?
The point is this. If you can imagine that at some point that GNH is going to prove that there are more AU mineralized zones (thick RED lines) all over this map...which is essentially what they are trying to tell us Snow White is...then eventually we might see a map with thick RED stripes going all over this map from the bottom left, to the top right of the page.
That means that because the drill is going perpindicular to these RED lines that we should not expect at all, long intercepts of over 100m. We should hope for smaller intercepts, (like 5-15m) but in higher frequency. That will indicate that there is more likelihood of these RED stripes on this map which ultimately tells the true story of GNH which is TONNAGE.
As for grades, this is probably a good time to remind folks that we do in fact have a nugget problem. The nugget problem tends to understate the grade by the drill. That's why this place has not been discovered yet and is frankly why I think I should be able to retire comfortably under the age of 40. So please...remind yourself that grades of 1, 1.5, and 2 are actually fantastic and that these kinds of grades support the theory that we may be sitting on a monster gold deposit with grades of 3g/t....and probably closer to 4g/t.
So...yes, 127 and 128 do not go exactly perpindicular to the RED trending lines. That does not mean that it goes straight down one of these red lines either. I will expect that 127 and 128 have mildly longer intercepts but only because it is not taking the shortest route ACROSS these Au mineralized zones (red lines).
I've spent some time talking to Sasha about this, and it takes me a while to grasp what is ultimately a simple concept. Of course, reader beware...this is my interpretation only that I have pieced together from looking at this map and talking to people.
The only thing Sasha said to me was that they hope to fill the gap where drill hole 131 goes. I've pieced together the rest of this idea so, I may be wrong on this...but I think it makes sense. I'd welcome comments here.
I think it's safe to say the this is a different stock now. Going from 15 cents to 50 cents has been a wild ride, and quite exciting. I think the ride from 50 cents to $2 will be via a completely different vehicle, equally exciting and even more rewarding. It is starting to become a real thing, instead of a great story.
Of course, we still have to prove there is some gold here...so IMO...little bits of gold is going to a very long way in building out this deposit.
