Message: Inflation?

Skier, The definition of Stagflation by wikepedia is: "the situation when the inflation rate and the unemployment rate are high." I was 22 in 1971. The 70's was when the word stagflation was created, and believe me we had inflation on everything that cost money to live: Food, Fuel, Taxes Fees, Insurance, Health Care Costs, etc, and deflation of everything that your diposable income and wealth came from; salaries , jobs, stock prices , homes, land, and interest and dividends (until the late 70's). There are two types of inflation; Demand /Supply and Cost-Push Money Monetization. IMO the latter is what we are about to experience. It takes 18-22 months on average for the monetization cost push to flow through to the pricing of everything it costs to live. I think the "5's" will be here in 18 months; $5 a gallon of gas, $5 a gallon a milk, and $5 a loaf of bread. I hope I'm wrong,

Good Health to You,

munisign
