I was looking at Detour's most recent results and to be honest, it makes me feel alot better about GNH assays. We all know that their average grade comes in just over 1g/t and estimated resourse of 11 million ounces of gold from something like 370 tons of ore.
The thing I found interesting was how they reported their holes to the market. The headline was 2.54g/48m and 2.80g/41.5m both including 20g/1m.
Here are some examples; these are rounded numbers
Meters drilled meters reporting # of batches
400 m 100 m 6 batches
600 m 50 m 7 batches
700 m 150 m 10 batches
500 m 60 m 5 batches
400 m 50 m 4 batches
400 m 25 m 2 batches
You know, when you compare our 1st assays to someone like Detour Gold and their market cap. I kind of feel all good again inside.
Like Jay Taylor said, lots of upside potential, with probably some disappointments along the way. Well, we just had our first disappointment with how the market reacted to our 1st set of assays and on paper it hurt, but I didn't sell any, so I haven't lost any, and I'm sure there are many of you that are in the same position, even Positive Carry.
Our journey continues, and the market will try and take away our shares, it's up to each individual to decide when they want to give them.
Good Luck To All,
:) Skier
