New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Well, I must say that I am wildly excited by todays movement on the exchange. IMO, Sept 7 represented one of the several turbulent hurdles we'd have to get over before we really start cruising to a different altitude
Not only do go up 5 cents but we do it on significant volume. A very strong showing if I do say so myself.
I also can't help but notice the varied junior explorco's popping off all over the TSX on the release of assays. The bull inside of me is hoping there is a trend brewing on the strength of the price of gold. The reason I am invested in this sector is because I had a vision of junior gold companies going off like the tech boom in the 90's. Now....it is WAY too soon to make that comparison but if we see a few more of these go off, people are going to be hunting these things down in anticipation of hitting the next ' 24-hour 50% bagger'. I can already sense that by reading various stock websites, there's a wee buzz starting to brew.
I put a call in to Sasha after the close today to see if he knew of anything going on with our SP. Seems to be just a lot of interest out there and they've got some new shareholders who really like the prospects here. He did mention that the West effect still presides in finding new retail investors...which I find pretty fascinating.
News? When the hell is news coming out? Well, I guess he gets asked this more than a couple of times a day and I truly believe he is as anxious as us to get it out there. SOON. Okay, soon it is....but it better be a bonafide soon and not a 2 week soon! He said that they are still working on it, and have been working on it and they are not trying to withhold it from the market. My opinion? Not tomorrow but any day after that could be the day, assuming there are no more snags (like the delay/mixup from the lab).
I'll say one thing. I sure wouldn't feel all that comfortable in a heavy short position after the trading of today. In fact, it could get real messy in a real hurry...
