New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Doing a little research today into the worlds largest gold deposits, and now I understand why tonnage is key. Most of the largest's mines are about 2 g/t or even less but have huge tonnage. After doing a little research i am less worried about the G/t (as long as its around 1-2g/p) then i am hoping the can prove up as much tonnage as possible. The worlds largest mine (As far as i can read) is Grasberg mine in Indonesia from what i read its about 4 km wide open pit mine averaging about 2 g/t. the company who mines it is freeport (FCX on the nyse) they have had a shareprice of over 120 bucks in the past. Anyway here's a good website for gold mining beginners to read about some of the big deposits out there
