So it was really great to have brought 2 friends with me this time. One of them was the only guy I really talk stocks with and we invest in the same things, and the other guy was a long time friend of this guy and who works at GMP Private Client. I'll call him JD.

Anyways, so I underestimated what JD could bring to the table as a visitor to the site. I mean essentially he is a broker and I am a client of his but I was pretty sure he wasn't going to able to come out to the property and see it for what I believe it to be. I mean, he has a got a whack of letters after his name but none of them say 'geo'.

He is very familiar with financing deals as his company specializes in commodities and deals just like ours could be. His company is highly respected and ranks #1 or close to it in a lot of categories for being an investment firm. In fact Candido himself said that GMP would be a perfect fit for any future financing or deals.

So what can he do for us? Well, JD has been following the GNH story since I wrote him an email comparing GNH to another deal that he put me in that he still claims is the best deal he has on record. (RX Exploration if you are interested) My email was basically saying get me the hell out of RXE and roll that into GNH immediately and wrote out about a dozen reasons why. He followed up, and liked it enough that he suggested that his metals guys look into it and CC'd his CEO way back in Feb.

Well, months later GNH is a star performer on the Venture with good volume and as we all know...it's just getting started. He's followed the story the entire time and liked it enough that he thought he'd come out and see it for himself. Failing that, at least it would be a good time and a road trip with the boys.

So I got to just pound away at questioning him on all the aspects of what he does, what he thinks of GNH and what would or could he do. Well, he's a fan of GNH already - so that's great. I guess Candido and Tilsley had done a road show with GMP before and impressed the mining guys but they viewed the project as too small at that point but had interest. Anyways, with JD going to see the project the 3 analysts requested he report back to them what he sees.

JD has been quite successful in this industry for quite sometime (I used to enjoy watching him as the market expert on TV news shows several years ago) and has developed significant contacts over that time. He also went to a school with a very reputable biz program his best friends are many of the people you would like to get in front of to tell your 'story' to. I viewed JD as sort of the canary in the coal mine here. Taking the time out of his schedule to come see this property and if this thing is for real or not. He seemed impressed and comfortable enough that he was going to have a few internal meetings and make a few phone calls....which at the surface it seems like not a big deal, but in many respects GNH is all about getting the 'story' in front of people. It's an easy sell after that. I won't go into details on who he would promote GNH with, that's a losing proposition for me and I respect JD's privacy...but I was impressed and truly believed that a little networking could make a big difference. Why would he do this? Well, other than plain and simple good business my guess is that there would be a great deal of respect for a guy who shed some serious light on one of the biggest gold deposits in North Amercia that has been ignored for over 50 years.

He thrice referenced the cute girl at the dance that nobody talks to and that this is the way things always work on Bay St. Everyone seems to leave things alone until someone makes a move, and then the interest level ramps up very quickly and then it's a competition to get in.

So JD, do you think GMP could raise like $5-$10M for GNH? His response - Ya. (he said this like it would be a breeze) but uh, no probably more like $15-$20M. I don't think we would want to touch it if were less than $15M.

Wow, that certainly caught me off guard. Keeping in mind that GMP makes money on these deals and that probably many other firms would love to do a finance raise for GNH but it didn't sound like getting capital would be the problem.

Around then he mentioned that he didn't know what Frank was wanting to raise and what his intentions are going forward. Does he want lots of cash, or does he want to avoid dilution? Well, obviously I don't know the answer for that and that's up to Mr Candido to decide.

So the next question. What price will the next share offering go out at?

This is where it gets interesting and I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the next few months. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that Frank has a strategy in place to do the best for his company and I think we'll get to see what that is in the next 3 months.

I'm guessing Frank's M.O. is to spend this time to prove up as much valuable and compelling information to support our share price such that we can secure the best deal with the least amount of dilution. Of course, there are so many variables at work here and I can only assume that the info shared here on the hub represents a fraction of what is known.

Now, I think I should probably throw in some sort of disclaimer or opinion here. My time spent with JD was great but his opinions and thoughts are coming from only one perspective. It's an educated one but it's just one. Frank is driving this ship beautifully and I was honored to be able peek at just one of the many irons he has in this smoldering fire.
