Message: State of the nation....call with Frank

I usually like to talk with Sasha at least once a week. He's great at his job but seeing as he is away this week.....well it was high time to catch up with Mr. Candido, so I had that phone call with him instead.

It's always a pleasure talking with Frank, and very easy because the guy has so much energy and enthusiasm for this project, once he gets going I just start writing illegible scratches on the paper in front of me and try to remember what I'd like to ask him next whenever he's done.

First of all, it sounds like he had a great vacation which is good news because by my count, he seems to have an ability to be in 2 places at once while having 3 conversations at the same time?

His cell phone decided to crash permanently just before he left, which may be due to the amount that he uses it. (It's entertaining to watch him go....I think he's got the speed dial features organized as he doesn't waste a second) This is a good thing if you're on vacation but a bad thing if you'd like to check on your baby in case of emergencies etc to help you relax. It sounded like he was going to get a new one sent from Rogers in the next day or so after many, many phone calls. C'est la vie....we've all been there when you're entire life seems to be in the control of your cell phone/internet/cable provider.

So the results. Contrary to popular belief the assay results have not been delayed due to his vacation, or Sasha's vacation. Word is all of the results are back (I'm assuming he meant from Phase 1) but there is a lot of work that must go into interpretation, plotting, mapping so they are working through all of that data, which takes time. As Frank said, if it was just a matter of collecting the results of drill core and putting them into a press release they would have been done ages ago. In the spirit of under selling and over delivering we may be best to expect those results closer to the first week of September which was the message I was receiving. There seems to be the building of an entire geological model at work here, and on top of that I've heard JT say that he is not comfortable in reporting on grades that are not accurate - regardless of whether that is low or high. So, this sounds like it's something that is going to be measured several times before it goes to market.

Frankly, if they are released in September I think it would be better for impact.

How are the results? I have no freakin clue although I would say a strong assumption would be that they are not constantly increasing their drill programs because they are hitting nothing. For shock value anything over 2 would be amazing although I'm comfortable with anything close to 1, particularly if the intercepts are long and consistent.

I'm personally curious to see if JT has any tricks up his sleeve and will comment on the nugget problem, or if it will not be mentioned at all.

I will say that Frank wasn't talking like a guy who was dealing with a looming NR, but who knows....this is a highly speculative stock! :)

To comment on our current valuation, I like the previous posted arguments. If I could add to that I think it's hard for a group of amateurs to make a strong case for something that is probably an extremely complex valuation process. I'll say that I'm left scratching my head as to why some explorco's are valued so differently from each other, but I'm sure there are good reasons for it. Looking into my crystal ball I don't see us under $1.00 going into 2011 and beyond as it may be impossible unless all these quartz intercepts are completely barren except for the VG I saw in that one piece of core.
