Hi Fantomas- I am not sure you are comparing apples to apples with respect to assay times. Golden Hope has historically used total pulp metallic preparation in order to lessen the nugget effect of their drill cores. This process, I believe, is somewhat more time consuming and may explain some of the delays on their earlier hole results compared to other companies. When I was talking to Jim Tilsley he mentioned that they were going to start to make their assay procedure more efficient by using a combination of fire assays and total pulp metallic assays going forward, and my understanding was that these decisions would be somewhat dependent on whether they were defining new extensions of the deposit or doing infill drilling of known extensions.
I am not a fan of companies holding back results for extended periods without good reason. I would suggest that if extra time is needed to complete a 43-101 compliant conceptual resource model/estimate, then I am in favor of the extra wait.
Best,
Scott
