Message: For those impatient few waiting for assays....

I just had the good fortune of having a nice 1.5hr casual meeting with a fellow GNH shareholder. A significant one at that. Frank had set it up as our paths were crossing unbeknownst to us.

This guy has been involved with GNH since 2006 and has lived 100 lives of what I have in Golden Hope years. He invested in the project through a friend who had known Hoel. He is very educated about this project (and in general) and well aware of all of the minute details, at least up to my level of understanding - and maybe even more so. He does not post here but will read here on occasion.

Buy in, ride it up, ride it down, shake around, ride it up, ride it down....old management, new management, phone calls, recessions, and on and on and on. To hear about how the past few years were as a shareholder could not possibly do justice to what would have been a tumultous few years.

And you know what? He never did sell a single share. Why? Because he has always believed in the project, and through the very hard times he has also begun to believe and trust in Frank (who he met at the beginning) wholeheartedly. Amazingly, the project he so strongly believed in was simply the Timmins portion. The blue sky we are talking about now is an entirely different project and as always, it is comforting to have another lunatic at your side who sees what I see in regards to our potential...which by the by seems to be rapidly becoming less potential and more tangible, as the drill turns.

How will it all play out? Nobody knows and nobody can predict the future. We both agreed the stars seem to be aligning in a way that is a 'one in a million chance'. The risks here that we agreed upon are more like what is unknown and keeping our management healthy...which most actuaries would say, you're in pretty good shape if you're looking to squeak out 2-3 years of simply trying to stay alive.

This is all tempered with a healthy dose of risk assesment, being responsible for our own decisions (losses or gains), playing in the junior sector (enough said) and the fact that until you sell your shares they aren't worth the paper they're printed on.

So...do I mind waiting a few days or weeks for assays? Talk to this shareholder who has held steadfast (and admits he's either got balls of steel, he's stupid, or both) for over 4 years and the prospect of our assays taking a few more weeks seems to be less tenous. All the crap Candido and his shareholders have endured have led up to this first release of a steady diet of assays, so if they are a bit behind in the release date - I won't complain. I got a real sense from this guy that it's been a long road to get to this point and the past is very far behind us and the future is a much prettier picture.

We'll all find out how we did in the coming weeks and if that studying paid off. I'm trying to assess whether our share price includes some expected results? It may take a little while for some to understand the amount of space we trying to prove up. This ain't infill drilling.

One thing he did mention was that Tilsley was asking for another level of tests which may account for some of the length of time the assays have taken.

Enjoy the long weekend all those Canadian folks.
