I've done promotion before (nothing to do with miners). The diminishing returns have one heck of a downward slope when you're overexposing in one venue.

Good assays will move this, as they should, but James West will be of little effect. Perhaps he can increase the volume a bit, though. For a day or two.

FYI, there are many people (as you've probably noticed) who trade stocks based on who's appearing on BNN at 11:30 any given day. You can look this stuff up, figure out who the pumper's favourite stock is, from that guess what's going to go up (sometimes), and (sometimes) make money by buying the stock the day before the guest comes on and selling it at 11:50.

But when you pick a BNN guest who's already been on TV too much (like, y'know, 3 times in a month), you can get burned. I'm betting there won't even be much of a run-up in the price for this appearance.
