New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
I had a really wonderful time at the site visit on Thursday. We we're only about a half hour away from my birthplace.
My father was a miner in these parts back in the 50's. In 1957, we all moved to Elliot Lake Ont. where my dad mined for uranium there. Actually, he worked at the same mine (Stanley Mine) that James Tilsley did, although they never met. When these mines closed, we moved to southern Ontario. I worked with my dad, drilling and blasting on the surface and quarries, for seven years.
Fast forward to 2010. A site visit to the GNH exploration project really made a significant impact on me. From meeting Frank Candido, to meeting a lot of other Agoracom members, to actualy seeing and touching the gold in the area. I return full circle to find that my roots really are GOLDEN!!
Thanks to the GNH staff, Frank, James, Dany, Sasha, and all, for showing us the whole project in great details. When we arrived at the office in St-Justine, the first exploration map I saw on the table, was that of St-Fabien de Panet. I was able to find the exact spot where I was born. That was really cool.
James Tilsley relayed a whole lot of information about the project and the geology of the area. He was able to explain the procedures, and the steps needed to prove up the deposit, in such a way that even I could understand. I have to admit, some of the stuff was beyond my comprehension, but JT made it a lot clearer than when I first got there.
It was really nice meeting other Agoracom members and other investors there. We we're able to interact with each other and see, hear, and feel the magnitude of this deposit. I believe we have experienced a time in our lives that will be remembered for a long time.
Thanks
