Almost any broker can trade under anonymous from what I hear. When I did have a broker (before I realized how much I was getting raped-I mean charged) I asked if he could do my order under anonymous and he did it, with an iceberg bid on top of that. That is the stuff I miss from having a broker but paying $7 at TD just makes having a broker ridiculous for me even with those sl advantages.

So when you see Anonymous buying and selling, it could be one professional broker flipping pennies or it could be both sellers and buyers using the cover of anonymous but they are completely unknown to each other.

I find many stocks have anonymous as their biggest seller and I think this reflects the early PPs that are now being liquidated and these should not be seen as a negative too much as those shares are now in stronger hands.

When I see anonymous buying heavily, I usually have a big smile on my face as it most likely means some deeps pockets are accumulating our stock. Since June 1st, Anonymous has bought 4.6M shares thru the TSX, (I do not have numbers for the Alpha system) however, they are net sellers of 1.17M shares as they have sold 5.8M shares but keeping in mind that these are probably different individuals. The fact that anonymous has bought 4.6M shares in the last month makes me very happy.
