your question is proper and the answer is easy.

Of course there was Diorite rock in the big samples, and in the drill cores.

This is not an even ore body which why it is still available to mine. it was never processed properly. (and gold wasn't 1250$)

That said, in order to create 43-101 numbers you have to follow proper rules of exploring which, here, requires large sampling method.

The estimate, current, on T1 and T2's is for between 20 to 30MT.

That should average 3/gt and there will be a lot of diorite in it.

mining method could be smilar to the Goldex deposit from Agnico.

Block mining.

and Yes if you only take the quartz it's much higher than the average of 3g/t

more like 1oz (32g/t)
