Message: More stuff...

When JT had the map out with all of GNH's claims in the Beauce they talked about a few other prospective zones that they have done work on in the past. I think one of them was a base metals target (chute de bras?) and they had other good signs with the other areas but they will not put any finances towards these targets anytime soon.

Okay..I want to talk just a bit about the man and his team some more. I think we are getting to the point where the drill will start speaking for itself, so the people will become less of a focus in the near future. Ive had a few chances to spend some casual time with Frank, and this is time spent with his guard down. If I am not at a GNH formal event, I do not bring up GNH. For that reason, I think he allows me to see his personal side a bit more.

A few things. FC is nothing short of the funniest guy I have ever met. I may have mentioned this before and I saw him talking to some shareholders after the AGM and saw them laughing, so they may have an inkling of what I'm talking about.

FC is also extremely honest and loyal. Small example, but at the meeting he praised JT immensely for all that he has done. It came off very honest, but it's also the kind of thing a good CEO would say about his team. During a conversation afterwards, and with nothing to gain I heard him saying how much he loves the team, and how everyone is working so hard, working together and that he doesn't just say that stuff just to say it...he means it. His arms are flailing like a good Italian man as he makes this point.

His loyalty runs deep. Quick, and odd story for you. At the PDAC his IR company, Paradox was there. With them there was a guy with long hair, looked like a gangsta and I was thinking what the hell kind of company am I investing in?? FC defended him when I broached the subject saying how they have been sp great for the company and all other IR firms are crap and talk the talk and deliver zero. Eventually I accepted it but I never forgot it....how can a guy be legitimate like that and be taken seriously with long hair? So another guy from Paradox was at the AGM, very young guy but certainly presentable and professional. The topic came up and I pushed in again....who is that guy and how can he be taken seriously??

Again Frank defends him but now I'm learning why. Go back to the dark days of the recession and look at our share price, and look at how much money and faith Frank C had in GNH back then. Not much of either but these guys all believed in him and this project and helped to keep people interested and the momentum going. I learned that this guy is also extremely intelligent, self-made, honest and apparently likes heavy metal and plays in his spare time (hence the long hair).

Look, I'm from Toronto and there is a look and feel to the downtown core and I think there are a lot of douchebags walking around like they know something. There is a way to things in Montreal and I'm beginning to realize they aren't the same, and it's not a good or bad thing - they are just different. This IR firm brings a different kind of relationship and they are in this together.

The young guy from from Paradox, JF was quite impressive. He seems to be hungry, and polished and apparently is very good at what he does. Get this...he told me point blank that he has never done business or invested in anything he feels is less than a 10 bagger. Cool.

Okay, I'm straying here but when Frank talks about this project you can not hide the passion that has brought this thing from the depths of nowheresville and brought it to this point where I hope the roof gets blown off in 2010. He's not here for any other reason than to see this thing fly and make a ton of dough doing it and he will do this with his reputation intact and crowd of people in his wake lauding him.

I had a fun chat with JT about how he apparently has no options, so Im asking..what's the motivation here? His reply was that he gets paid the same rate he was getting paid as a senior geologist so he feels he is fairly compensated. Well, when was the last time you were getting paid a rate as senior geologist? It was quite some time ago...he said 'I don't know what they get paid now' and I quickly interjected with a 'please don't bother to check' which got a smile. I expect JT and several others will get some options handed to them which I think are well deserved. The fact that Frank has not received an option for himself, or anybody for that matter in the past 2 years and he just REDUCED the option float to 10% from 20% says a heck of a lot. Still he is clearly motivated by more than just the money as is everyone else on this squad.

As for Sasha? Well, for fun we should call his cell phone at 4am some night. You'd probably get an answer or callback and answers to ridiculously basic questions. He's living and breathing GNH as well.

Ok that's it for the personal insight...thought some might enjoy that perspective.

I'll probably remember some more stuff, and as Hoov would say...if you have any thoughts or questions throw them out there - it may spur some more discussion and jog my memory as well as others as well.
