New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
Just did the conference.
I commend Frank on an excellent job, yet again. I saw a spelling mistake and a typo on one of the slides, and took him a minute to get in the groove but I found this presentation summed up everything I know about GNH, but was afraid to say.
Turns out I understand what is happening here even more than I thought! (if I may be so bold)
Thank goodness, because I don't like the feeling of being the only one who sees the big gold elephant in the room. It makes me feel crazy.
Ok, share price aside for a moment...the markets have been crushed lately...
Here is a quote from the presentation which I think sums it all up.
'Drilling success may confirm the existence of an extensive structure (20+km 12.42mi) which may result in the most significant mineralized gold (Au) area in recent North American geological history'
That's cool, especially since Frank went on about how he believes that they have had much success with finding mineralization or quartz in the current drill campaign. It's even cooler because he acknowledged - for the first time in my understanding - that the breadth of this deposit could reach over 20km's. (I knew about possibly up to 6km)
Well, now that Frank has said it I will say it. IF this goes for 20km's, and he clearly stated that they have been unable to prove that it does not - then this will be the second coming of BRE-X, but with actual gold. Seabridge on the TSX has about 30MM probable oz's on their biggest claim holding which is one of the largest unmined deposits in the world - that could be dwarfed by what they are talking about here. Hoov, if you read this and think I am completely off my rocker in this statement, please let me know via PM (or anybody for that matter).
Couple of interesting points.
They added 2000m to the Phase 1 drill campaign. He talked about how drill plans are affected by successes or failures. I suppose 1A was successful.
He said that they feel comfortable in saying that Phase 1 drilling will be done by the end of the first week of June. Cores are cut and sent for assays as they come in. 4 week turnaround for assay results.
A question about production was asked. That question flushed out that they have had interest from bigger fish (in 2007) but that their present strategy is to prove up as much mineralization as possible (and quickly I assume) before talking about selling or production.
The 43-101 question was answered a few times. Short answer - they will wait until they are aware of what they have until they produce this. Patience will be rewarded in this regard.
Frank summed it up at the end, and I feel as though he bit his tongue before going on record saying that this could be a major gold mining district in the not so distant future.
And my commentary I would like to add? Frank addressed a great question about marketing to the US investor. I felt he had a great answer in that the Americans are not accustomed to investing in junior cap mining stocks like Canadians might be, but that the climate is changing as the talk of gold is becoming ever present in the US media.
Frank has proven on a few occasions in my books that unconventional practices has paid off in spades for him. Being a pioneer in unchartered land like GNH breeds that kind of thinking I guess. Perhaps this is another unique manoeuvre to build awareness that he may get panned for initially - but could pay dividends in the end. Every economic report I read from the US says buy gold, but they probably don't know where to get it other than GLD and ABX. I noticed that the GNH presentation stuck out like a sore thumb amongst all the other presenters at this 'conference'.
I am still so pumped on this stock, I find it unbelievable. I finally found somebody who sees what I've been seeing all along, and its Frank Candido! As my title of this post suggests, I think they just let the cat out the bag and that they've been holding back on what the 'potential' has been up until now. I'm glad you can hear it from him, rather than me.
Of course, do your own DD - as there may not be gold in the quartz they are saying they are finding, and these veins may not be connected or go to 1000m deep or run 20+kms. All unknowns, and all substantial unknowns. At this market cap though, it deserves a keen look IMO.
