Developing Bellechasse-Timmins Gold Deposit

New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt

Message: History Repeating ?

The Beauce Region was the site of the first gold rush in North America back in 1828.

Golden Hope Mines tries to re-ignite this scenario with it´s work on the Bellechasse property.

And looking at the most recent "staking rush" in the area, one could very much sense another "gold rush in the making".

Good to know that 80% of the known mineralized belt are covered by GNH properties.

But maybe it´ll become a much larger area in the future and hopefully it will be one of the largest gold belts in NA.

Here a little bit of history:

Historical Exploration Background in The Beauce Region

  • 1834: gold nuggets discovered in the Gilbert River
  • 1949: Discovery of Eastern Metals Au, Ni, Cu, Co deposit
  • 1950: Discovery of the Champagne Cu, Zn, Ag and Pb deposit
  • 1950: The Ascot gold-bearing quartz vein discovered adjacent to The Timmins Zones
  • 1951-1953: Timmins Zone auriferous quartz vein system identified by trenching and diamond drilling
  • 1960’s: Bulk samples taken from three pits excavated in selected veins produced a weighted average of 10.63 g/t Au (0.31 oz/t Au) from a total of 39.3 metric tons (43 short tons) of material
  • 1976: sampling and metallurgical testing conducted by Privex Mines Ltd.
  • 1985: Golden Hope acquires its initial Bellechasse (Timmins) property property
  • 2003-2004: Golden Hope Mines with joint venture partner Osisko Mining drill the Timmins 1 mineralized zone

Glad to be part of this story (thanks to Larry, Frank and Justice) and looking forward to things to come.
