i have a question for all the mine saavy "geologist type" guys on this board.

is it possible the source for all this gold is actually offshore? i know it does'nt make much differance in gnh' case, unless the source was actually on one of thier claims (then it would be like hitting the lottery) but i've been messing around with undersea miners and looking at the area i was wondering if all this gold might have been spread by a large undersea vent a gazillion years ago....i'm a little out of my league here, but i'm curious if it's a possibility..
