New Discovery Resulting in a 20KM Mineralized Gold Belt
CJR,
I hear what you're saying. 'Goldenhope' sounds like swamp land in Florida to an untrained ear.
The current management didn't pick this name, as it has been left over, I think, from decades ago. I'm sure if they did, the name would be as polished and sophisticated as they are.
Unfortunately for some, the seriousness of what the Goldenhope portfolio of claims represents...is perhaps let down by a dated name. I wonder about the guy who told his friends his new girlfriends name was Claudia (snicker) and then introduced the Schiffer variety.
Given that this is a very small market cap junior, with limited cash and operating on a tight budget, I doubt there is any chance that they would approve a name change which would no doubt result in the $$$spending$$$ of important cash on hand to change legal titles, bank information, legal docs, corp marketing, and right down to Franks business cards. Although a sexy name might garner some extra interest it's not a smart business decision, IMO.
I have a sneaky suspicion that the people who know what the true value of GNH is, will be able to see past the perhaps 'unconfident' sounding name and will benefit from buying shares at a discount that were left on the table by your snickering buddies!
In fact, if there was a gold company called Pansy Inc that would perform like GNH has I'd be buying with great pride.
Still, I know what you're saying but they won't be saying squat if GNH goes to 40 cents and onwards. If that were to happen I'm sure the next time you tell them about a stock they won't question much other than when should they buy?
And for me, I've actually grown to like the name. It's all in how you inflect the word 'hope'.
