On regional developements

I was in Vancouver this week at the Cambridge House show. I took the time to stop by the OSK booth to grill them about BOW and the Beauce. John Burzynski was not there, but his wife Caroline was. Caroline is head of IR at OSK and is also a geologist, both of them worked with GNH in the 90's where they met and feel in love..... another GNH success strory... how cute!

Anyhow, other OSK representatives were visibly tight lipped about BOW and anything in Quebec. When I started asking very pointed questions and calling them out on the fact that the claims came public and we all knew some basic facts, Caroline took over.

Caroline definitely did not deny anything about action in the region. She has intimate knowledge of the region and confirmed that there were at least 3 types of geological environments along the fault line, over several hundred KMs. She said that the OSK/GNH JV back in 2003-05 was just the wrong time and place in the same way that Malarctic was not the right time/place for Barrick when OSK bought the assset from them.

She seemed very upbeat about the prospects of the region and what BOW might find. She expressed interest in what GNH had been doing at Bellechasse-Timmins and was impressed with the work that has been done and how it is being rapidly expanded. She gave praise to Jim Tilsley, the GNH Chief Geo, and asked if Frank Glass was still involved as well. She seemed impressed that the tech side of GNH was strong and filled with experienced and intellect.

We had a long conversation about the regional geology which was: a) out of my league and b)cut short because I had another meeting to run to.

This region is going to catch like a wild fire, it is just a simple matter of time.
