Centerra would be the erstwhile natural buyer for GBN.H, since both assets of Kumtor and La Ronge were once owned by Cameco. But instead, they've bought a base metal miner, moving away from Gold on a presumed recovery in base metals prices.

Oil prices may wind up in a massive protracted skew as we had seen during the gold price correction, only more meaningfully long term ,if only from the perspective that the oil price mania has now long since blown out, and the recovery of oil prices has also now blown out.
