The company claims on its website that operations ceased in 2013. This does not meet with statements made about a shut down in February, 2014.

In actual matter of fact, the company is not in 'care and maintenance' mode by any stretch of the imagination two years after the presumed shut down in 2013.

The portal to the Jolu Mine is covered, and trucks for hauling away waste rock are readying to haul to the enormous waste rock pile near the concentrating mill for the EP Mine, adjacent to the Komis mine which was never in operation. You can clearly make out ventilators at the Jolu Mine entrance hooked up to a large cable running from the mill.

Terraserver provides enough of a history that will confirm ongoing operations throughout the shut down period. In March of 2015, for example, ore is clearly stockpiled, covered by snow. The roads are clear of snow and the stockpiled ore for processing is made visible by the snow accumulation, which is very light.

The window of opportunity has passed for a spring update to the SAT photos, and may have to wait until late summer this year. What I would be looking for is evidence of construction to match my expectations that the spike of non-residential construction permits in Saskatchewan in September, 2015 has to do with construction activity over the winter specifically in this and all locations that pertain to GBN.H's La Ronge Gold Project.
