via Toronto Star - Dome Mine Closure
Discovered in 1908, the Dome Mine represents an important milestone in Canadian gold production. The Dome mine outperformed during the depression, mostly because they paid a strong dividend, and the $U.S. dollar devaluation. Instead of calling The La Ronge Gold Project "The New Hemlo" (which is extraordinarily weak) why not just call it "The New Dome," or "The New Sigma-Lamaque?"
