Saskatchewan's SECRET Gold Mining Development.
Comparables - AUG.V, ER.TO, RMX.TO
Of course, I call these mining companies Comparables, but there are notable differences. Firstly their share prices and GBN.V prices no longer follow one another. GBN.V has annoyingly clung to the cheapest price level available on Canadian stock markets with no bid under it.
Auryn bought out North Country Gold, which was preceded by Committee Bay Resources. This company was partially owned by Gold Fields at one time and went bankrupt during the financial crisis. They have consolidated the gold district near Committe Bay, Nunavut. They are unable to raise capital for the project. With another financial crisis, they will probably not make it through.
Another company I had been following at least as long as GBN.V, which is 9% owned by Goldcorp, and probably owned by all the prominent gold space investors on Wall St., but is still unable to raise capital is ER.TO.
Rubicon Minerals RMX.TO, is probably involved in the same type of scorched earth policy that GBN.V has been under for years. They raised capital for their project through horrifying dilution, then claimed a shut-down. They have simply spent too much money to allow the company to go bankrupt, much like GBN.V:
GBN.V is superior in many ways because their deposits start at surface, they have zero capital requirement and zero debt, and is not located either in Ontario, Quebec or Nunavut. They are also much further along in their development. Presumed also that they may very well have raised capital through a swap agreement exchanging doré that was accessed in the EP Mine 'pay streak' for cash.
