One chart that needs looking at would be the bear case in gold mining shares. Just how well is the ETF doing? The bear case is being thoroughly exhausted, where very little downside momentum is left, though the ETF has been swinging wildly. DUST looks the same.

There doesn't appear to be a possible recovery for the bear case:
