via The Narrow Vein Mining Project - Sigma Mine
If the Decade Mine drilling was inconclusive, and the company has decided not to open pit in the lake bed of Mallard Lake, then I would resume with the assumption that the anastomose structure of the Rod Zone is probably going to draw some similarity with the Sigma mine.
Further to this idea, you have the assemblage of deposits in the vicinity of the Jolu Mill, such as the Star Lake Mine, Khan 21, Pam Zone and Rod Zone together might form a deposit resembling the former Sigma - Lamaque mine. The Rod Zone would be the Sigma mine, and the shear containing Star Lake and Khan 21 and other gold showings would be tha Lamaque portion.
That people were at one time referring to the Rod Zone as the 'new Hemlo' is probably wrong.
