via INO.com - June2015/Dec2020 Spread

Monthly closes are of the utmost importance in derivatives contracts, so I decided to check one more time at the progression of the narrowing of spread between near dated futures and long dated futures.

With this configuration, you can see a smoothed line denoting an upward trend. This is the very best indication that gold prices will continue to rise, since most other commodities have already seen backwardation.

via Risk Encyclopedia - Beta

I was curious just where gold fits in the risk world and ran a search through the Risk Encyclopeia to see how many times it was mentioned.

The article on Beta specifically mentioned gold mining stock, which regards them as a part of a negative beta portfolio. Instead if shorting General Indeces, gold mining stocks are a way of hedging against stock market declines.

"it is possible to construct a negative beta portfolio. Approaches include holding stocks, such as gold mining stocks."

Interesting though I had never heard of investing in gold mining stocks being referred to in this way. Where you have negative Beta, yield becomes a priority.

via AIMS Gold - Basic Escrow Agreement

I was searching around for an example of a basic escrow agreement hoping to understand some of the contingencies involved. This is mostly for export agreements to the UAE, where there might not be an imposed duty on unrefined dorė.

Because I believe the company is still in production drawing from stockpiles, and that there may be an escrow agreement in place involving unrefined dorė, though the details are undisclosed as are so many aspects of the La Ronge Gold Project, this might shed some light:
