The following chart is about the price action in GBN.V compared with NCG.V. These companies hold the last two consolidated gold belts in Canada. The Gogama in Ontario was consolidated under Trelawney, which was then sold to IAMGold.

The La Ronge Gold Belt has seen much more development thanks to SMDC, the precursor to Cameco. A former CEO of GBN.V was Roy Lloyd, the former CEO of SMDC before he passed on.

NCG.V, which had been Committee Bay Resources in Nunavut, went bankrupt in the financial crisis, even though it was 15% owned by Gold Fields.
