Daily gold prices have reverted to the uptrend. A golden cross is also when both the 200-day MA and the 300-day MA are crossed, one after another.

$Gold/$Silver Weekly

What caught my attention this week was the advance in gold prices against silver prices. The Rule Of Thumb is that this indicates a breakdown of credit.

But from all indications, yields have declined on Greek government bonds. If yields on their 10-year note can be 5%, then there is no merit in any usurious lending scheme.

GBN.V is not more risky than are Greek government bonds. But dividend yields on GBN.V shares can outperform the bond markets, if not inflation, precisely because gold prices are an indication of diversification away from foreign currencies and bond markets. And this at a time where yields on government bonds are below inflation.

GBN.V share prices are strongly correlating with the advance of the gold/silver ratio.
