via Forbes - Seven Habits Of Spectacularily Unsuccessful Executives
The following article focusses on very prominent, visible examples of spectacularily unsuccessful executives.
I would say that that the article doesn't necessarily rule out a director acting solely in the minority shareholder interest and using their position to run a company as if it were privately owned and a shell company of no value, use their position to overrule any and all perceived opposition, including firing almost everyone from key operational positions and grossly misrepresenting the facts, or even shutting down the company.
There are significant risks that the company will undoubtedly fail, as the share price is showing. Or the company will undoubtedly be bought out for a song by more competent miners.
But as they say, there's no law against making mistakes in business.
