The daily log scale chart will give you an exaggerated version of the capricious decline in share prices since a bottom should have been put in last August.
Bond prices peaked in that August, and we saw a capitulation on high volume in the stock ~16-18ยข. This is where most of the buying/selling occurred in the last few months.
I would say that with abolishing the no-down-tick rule, instead of appropriately hedging their short sale bets, sell-side brokers are just merely selling into the bid.
You can dial in the time period to 'fill the chart' rather then over a time period of a few years to see exactly where people decided to buy from the volume-by-price scale on the left-hand axis.
I would say that the chart will fill out its bearish implications, since the long term broadening pattern broke down. The share price is still in a bear market since 1997 and due to bottom.
