Dividends are finally topping bond yields, so says Bloomberg. Gold companies are exceptionally well positioned to distribute earnings to shareholders, based on growth in the gold price and still be able to issue high yielding debt, should it be necessary to implement a growth strategy.
The board of directors of GBN.V has chosen an entirely draconian route however, where the investment case is pulled out from under the shareholder's feet. No distributions, no price appreciation, no disclosure. Accounting can be said to be completely dishonest.
Yes, they have something to hide. Either they have absolutely nothing, or they are terrified that someone might find out what they're sitting on.
imo, GBN.V is being run like a shell company with no value.
