An interest article with an approach to valuing gold in various countries' currency against their gold holdings gives you an average of $4000/oz. for both the U.S. and the Euro zone. It comes out the much more for countries with very little gold holdings. This article is very fair without any exaggerations.

Canada is in a very serious shortfall position, unless the central bank wakes up and diversifies out of U.S. dollars and Euros into gold.

At one time, it didn't matter what you bought in the uranium space during the bull market, very few actually turned into mines. You made money. You could literally throw a dart at any company and make money. Now with the Uranium bubble collapsed, it will be very difficult to proceed.

Every company that has made money in the stock market has serious problems from an investment standpoint, mostly out of their mining the markets aggressively, rather than establishing a growing company. The irony for GBN.V is that exploration work had largely been completed in the 1980's and 90's, and was essentially spun off from Cameco.

Moriarty would tell you the mistake is in not sellling when the opportunity came, since these stocks are not meant to invest in. The whole junior market is predicated on this function. GBN.V is primarily a land flip at best, not an investment. All of the investment criteria for buying a mining stock have been stripped out, leaving very little for the stockholder, except a guessing game.

imo, a company like Aurico or Iamgold and none the least Centerra all make natural buyers for this project, and they will get their price, not a fair price.
