via Yahoo - GORO Losses Generates Lawsuit
GORO did its best to insist that base metals content in their mine was equivalent to gold, or called them equivalent ounces. But when gold content of the mine as a by product is no longer satisfactory, base metals content can no longer provide robust returns the same way gold does, thus you have to report a loss. Plus they're apparently having problems obtaining settlement on their concentrate (which I believe aught to be due to lower gold content)
But investors will be quick to table lawsuits. There is absolutely no way GORO can defend its claims, that base metals content is equivalent to gold, which they made for years:
