Dividends - Safe Haven

The Safe Haven blog (my fave) posted a very good article on dividends and buying opportunities:

Of course, my reason for paying dividends is not necessarily solely to appease investors, but actually to introduce arbitrage risk into the share price, thus forcing a change to assumptions held in delta hedging strategies used by the commercial banking sector.

This would force the share price above the average warrant price, resulting in a fully diluted share float and money into the till.
