Two Important Things To Remember
1. The share price of the underlying asset, GBN.V shares are considered in log scale. (thus the weekly log scale chart is the authority.)
2. If GBN.V pays dividends, then the share price of the underlying asset in the Black Scholes model used in dynamic hedging is considered in forward earnings, not trailing earnings.
So far, share prices are considered based on trailing earnings. There have not been four consecutive quarters of profits. End of Q1 will the the first time you can use trailing earnings to price the shares.
Knowing these particulars, this greatly simplifies the analysis of the GBN.V chart, using log scale, assigning elliot wave, and determining where the course of action in the stock is. For example, such as the bottom, which was 10.5ยข
Therefore implied volatility must be very large, given the possibility that GBN.V as a company can provide dividends, and must be considered based on forward earnings.
