An Interesting Wrinkle
AuRico sells its Australian assets to Crocodile. Australia recently implemented its planned heightened tax regime for miners in that country.
Part of the assets that belong to AuRico is the undeveloped Kemess mine in B.C., which was turned down by First Nations and public opposition. Permitting issues are a serious setback for miners, and B.C. is the Venezuela Of The North when it comes to permitting. Their tailings impoundment would require a lake to be used as their management area, which is a freshwater lake frequented by fish.
Young-Davidson is by far an inferior prospect to GBN.V's La Ronge Gold Project.
They will be looking for mining prospects in Canada to further their planned growth and acquisition strategy:
