Harper Defends Meadowbank Tailings Impoundment

The tailings impoundment area license for the Meadowbank mine in Nunavut was for dumping tailings into a lake which was a fish habitat. Not so for GBN.V, which had ownership over a licensed talings managment facitliy in use over decades.
