Saskatchewan's SECRET Gold Mining Development.
The Leitch Mine
The Leitch Mine in the Beardmore-Geraldton gold belt is an interesting example of another depression era mine, which produced gold for almost 30 years. (Roxmark is now Goldstone)
Its not so much that the geology is similar, because the rock chemistry is different here than La Ronge, but that something about the Leitch mine suggests that the Roy Lloyd mine will have a series of numerous veins in the same way.
The one advantage in La Ronge is that they have no ownership boundaries. The 'Big Stitch' of multiple veins might be hidden between Roy Lloyd and the 'Bay Zone' or the Kruger deposit in the Dickens Lake prospect. Almost certainly the company will have been working on this very area since before the stock market crash, and that the findings will have expanded northward. (results are information not forthcoming, sorry)
Goldstone provided a diagram of the Leitch mine:

The grade of the Sandy River mine is identical to Roy Lloyd.
There is an interesting Diabase shelf cutting through the mine at a certain depth, but this did not stop the miners from continuing further.
The names of all these companies have disappeared and no stock charts from the era are available.
