How did the share price perform in the bad hair days of the mid 1980's with all of the hoopla surrounding companies like Starrex Mining, Goldsil and Mahogany, all trading with premiums and attracting notice from the investor crowd?

In the day all that GBN.V had for properties was the Memorial deposit, with its one-off hit of 5% gold grade. (Bralorne came up with an intersection of the same grade last year.) In the ensuing years, GBN.V acquired the Waddy Lake properties from Comaplex(the company recently bought out by Agnico) and subsequently made the discovery of Birch Crossing, acquired the Roy Lloyd mine from Uranerz, bought out Golden Heart from Tyler Resources with the subsequent discovery of the RKN deposit. But what's more the company is also in possession of ALL of the formerly operating mill zone mines!!!

The mill zone mines, while small are nowhere near to being mined out, in fact, they only operated until the gold price fell below the cost of development and operations.

Now, either Netolitzky has either made an egregious error in allowing these mines to lie fallow for years and not develop them, or that the Roy Lloyd mine is being presented in the most restricted fashion possible.

Or, the market is saying the Mill Zone requires more than just passing attention, and plunking in a few drill holes around the Decade mine to satisfy the major shareholders, doesn't cut it. This is where the former attention paid by the market was focussed. And we still don't have any technical report!!

And the gold price, for what its worth, is actually testing a price level on an inflation adjusted basis PRIOR to the late 1980's.
