The February 2010 issue of Doug Casey's International Speculator speaks of Goldenband again. Casey has had is eye on GBN for quite a while and he clearly likes the production plan and the company. He sees the change in management as a very positive indicator where the company is now much more agressively headed,. Below are some of the comments in the latest issue of I.S. Good Luck to Everyone
Golden Band Resources (V.GBN): Since taking over as executive chairman recently, Ron is pushing the company forward. First, GBN is merging with its wholly owned subsidiary Jolu Development Corp. on February 1st to capture tax benefits and reduced administration costs. Then, management announced a private placement two weeks ago that could net the company as much as $9 million. GBN is looking to advance some of its 12 properties, four of which are former producing mines.
COMMENT: GBN has, frankly, struggled for a long time. Perhaps with Ron’s leadership things will finally get going. That would be great, because the company has gold and a mill, but that’s been true for a long time, so we’re going to wait and see how it goes.
