Edit this title from the Fast Facts Section
You call it claim jumping and I call it a criminal act, a more modern term.
Does one declare one's own criminality to people benefiting from the act? Perhaps, if one trusts that the news does not get out but in reality that is not the case. Certainly never disclose to the public, that would be like shooting oneself.
What gets me is the fact that they have done it and then come around and pretend like they are a saviour to Gold Reserve's shareholders. A classic and obvious case of someone we do not want to deal with.
By the way you were the first, that I know of, that suspected that it was a Choco 5 trasspass once GRZ filed its case. Thanks again for your insight and wisdom.
We made some drilling at Choco 5 over a year ago. The results have not been released. If the results were a failure or marginal there would be no reason to release other than a temporary dip in our share price. I suspect there is good news and Mr. Belanger is holding onto the data until the Brisas hold up is over. Releasing the data would only fuel take over action by the likes of Rusoro and probably by Venezuela itself.
Rusoro on the other hand, having it's property just beside ours and with the resource not being profitable cast a hungry eye over the fence. Years ago I saw an anomally map of the area and the map shows intense readings just where the mines and claims were. The most interesting part of that is the most intense anomally and one of the largest was at Choco 5. I conclude that Choco 5 has the prospects of being bigger and better than Brisas or Choco 10. Rusoro must have looked at the same map and made the conclusion that this area is likely to be more interesting than their own choco 10, hence the trasspass and theft.
Aquiring Choco 5 would mean upgrading the feed to their own mill that is just about defunct unless gold price takes a steep rise.
Of course getting hold of $100 million in cash as bonus through GRZ buyout would not hurt in this financial crisis.
