Message: Geologix Drilling Results Significant in Zone 4 San Agustin
GEOLOGIX DRILLING RESULTS SIGNIFICANT IN ZONE 4 SAN AGUSTIN, MEXICO· SA-118: 121.5 metres of 0.55 g/t Au, 15.04 g/t Ag and 0.76% Zn· SA-120: 102 metres of 0.38 g/t Au, 9.86 g/t Ag and 1.03% ZnVancouver, B.C., November 16, 2007 – Geologix Explorations Inc. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Zone 4 infill and step out drilling with holes SA-116, SA-118, SA-119 and SA-120 continue to confirm and exceed the Company’s target expectations on its San Agustin project in Durango State, Mexico.Dunham Craig, President and CEO stated: “Zone 4 drilling is returning some of the higher grade results over long lengths on the property and encourages us to believe that we are on our way to identifying a large tonnage deposit. Higher grade intervals such as 121.5 metres of 0.55 g/t Au, 15.04 g/t Ag and 0.76% Zn and 102 metres of 0.38 g/t Au, 9.86 g/t Ag and 1.03% Zn in Holes SA-118 and SA-120 suggest that the more we define this mineralization by drilling, the more high grade intercepts we appear to obtain. We are pleased to see this extension of the mineralization and the consistency in grade supports a large robust polymetallic system at San Agustin. In addition, Zone 4 is proving to have an equal importance to the property as the other zones currently being drilled. The width of the mineralization in Zone 4 is currently 200 metres and the zone is open in all directions.”
Quality Assurance & Control
The Company has implemented a quality assurance and control (QA/QC) program to ensure sampling and analysis of all exploration work is conducted in accordance with the best possible practices. The drill core is sawn in half with half of the core samples shipped to ALS Chemex Laboratory Services Limited in Vancouver, British Columbia for analysis. The other half of the core is retained for future assay verification. The QA/QC policy includes the chain of custody monitoring, insertion of blanks, standards and duplicates in the initial samples submitted. Drilling Progress
Zone 2 and Main Zone North ExtensionDrilling under Trench “L” has been completed and the Company expects to release results shortly. Drilling under trench “V” with a fence of three holes has also been completed with samples submitted to the laboratory. OtherAt San Agustin, 16 additional drill holes are completed and submitted to the assay lab. Two drills are currently on site with a third larger drill expected on site in late December. The Company plans to drill well into 2008 on the project. Qualified Person Geologix's President and CEO, Dunham L. Craig, B.Sc., P. Geo., a 'qualified person' for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Properties of the Canadian Securities Administrators, has verified the data (including sampling, analytical and test data) and prepared or supervised the preparation of the information contained in this new release.
