You can earn activity points by filling your profile with information about yourself (what city you live in, your favorite team, blogs etc.)
It will take time to go over this thoroughly, but it appears that most of these holes are pretty much infill with a couple exceptions. I was impressed with todays volume, and think it may be indicative of increased interest.
