is it not true that when the makets are experiencing severe corrections (or maybe just crashes) that people flee directly for gold stocks? or do they simply get out entirely of every position they have? I was monitoring the most traded stocks those days where we took some triple digit beatings and I noticed that just about every stock was a gold company. Of course those companies where all the majors, but I wonder if non producers experience a similar effect in volume?

where would I go? thats a good question... why not just wait on the sidelines?
