Galahad Metals Inc.: Paul Macdonell Resigns

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 6, 2009) - Galahad Metals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GAX) ("the Company") announced today that Paul Macdonell has resigned from the Board of Directors effective immediately.

In his resignation letter Mr. Macdonell stated that "I have been associated with the Dow Group of companies for almost two decades and have always enjoyed working with my fellow directors and administrative staff. During this time I have most appreciated working closely with Robin Dow and I am richer for this experience. It is unfortunate that other professional demands are such that I do not have the personal resources available for this position at this time."

Management and the Board deeply appreciate all the effort and good advice rendered to the Company by Mr. Macdonell over his many years of service. We all wish him well in his future endeavours.
